The Plymouth Coastal Observatory (PCO) has been monitoring the coast of Cornwall since 2006, through the SW Regional Coastal Monitoring Programme.

PCO are collating all of the beach profile and topographic survey information they hold on our 40 sand dune areas.

Satellite data going back to the 1980s and 1940s aerial photography will also by studied to build up a picture of historic change.
